Our education collaborators are working on programs to implement the app in STEM classrooms and clubs for kids and teens nationally and around the world to learn about how engineering shapes our every day lives. Kids and teens in these programs will be invited to connect with engineers through the app so they can meet and interact with professionals in their fields of interest. Please contact us to learn more about the program and how you can participate.

I am...

A high school student willing to learn anything that would help me become and amazing Immigration lawyer. I want to get knowledge by learning from others experiences and getting ideas on how I can keep growing in my career.

I want others to know...

I want other people to know that I am a very dedicated teenager that is willing to learn and get more comprehension in the career I want to study. I am also willing to take advantage of the opportunity I am given and so that later in the future I will be able to help others the way I was helped.

This is My Story

My Name is Ashley Rosales, I’m a teenage girl raised by wonderful migrated grandparents and an amazing mother and Step Father for 3 kids, my childhood wasn’t the best as any child out there would have. Every memory I had as a girl was scary through te point that I wasn’t able to talk due to a traumatizing event as a toddler. Growing up I had to face many adversities, but I was always the stronger, sibling even if I am not the oldest. As a child I learned that in order to get what you want you have to always be fair and understanding and also have to fight for your right and equality. As a teenager I got interested in knowing more about immigration and I noticed how unequal, awful, and desperate being a undocumented immigrant would feel. Now I’ve got so passionate to becoming an immigration lawyer and not only another one, but the best I could ever be, although the tough moments I had to live through, I know God was always and will always be there.

What skills have been most important to your career?

Teamwork and collaboration have been a very useful skill throughout my educational/day to day life. Both teamwork and collaboration are a very good opportunity to uncover new ideas and most likely receive new ideas. Teamwork helps get work done faster and efficiently but it also makes everyone think on a specific area which makes comprehension even better.
