About

Our education collaborators are working on programs to implement the app in STEM classrooms and clubs for kids and teens nationally and around the world to learn about how engineering shapes our every day lives. Kids and teens in these programs will be invited to connect with engineers through the app so they can meet and interact with professionals in their fields of interest. Please contact us to learn more about the program and how you can participate.

About Us

"The Association of State Floodplain Managers began in 1977 as the supporting organization of professionals involved in floodplain management, flood hazard mitigation, flood preparedness and flood warning and recovery. Its mission is to mitigate the losses, costs and human suffering caused by flooding and to promote wise use of the natural and beneficial floodplain functions. Today ASFPM is the premier voice in floodplain management practice and policy throughout the nation. Our 19,000 national and chapter members represent local, state and federal government agencies, citizen groups, private consulting firms, academia, insurance industry and lenders. ASFPM's influence is expressed through policy and practice changes that impact floodplain management in the U.S. and internationally.." source: https://www.floods.org/index.asp?menuID=425&firstlevelmenuID=179&siteID=1
