About this project
Cupid's Span is a piece of public art located in a park near the foot of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco. This 60 feet tall and 140 feet long structure is made of fiberglass and steel. The artists created renderings and small scale models of the sculptor. The engineers took the artists information to design a way to fabricate it and turn it into the full-sized structure.
