Our education collaborators are working on programs to implement the app in STEM classrooms and clubs for kids and teens nationally and around the world to learn about how engineering shapes our every day lives. Kids and teens in these programs will be invited to connect with engineers through the app so they can meet and interact with professionals in their fields of interest. About Us

The Center for Advancing Innovation (CAI) is a global public-private partnership, non-profit focused on creating a virtuous circle of innovation and driving growth breakthroughs through novel, creative paradigms and models. CAI's mission is to accelerate and increase the volume of research commercialization in support of high growth business to ignite entrepreneurship, bolster the global economy, and maximize the commercial and knowledge-based potential of promising inventions. CAI's award-winning challenge-based accelerator, rigorous evidence-based due diligence, and capital-efficient lean management models serve to hyper-accelerate "gazelle"​ high-performing startups for outsized investor returns. Through its NIH-sponsored Breast Cancer Startup Challenge, Neuro Startup Challenge, and Nanotechnology Startup Challenge in Cancer competitions, as well as its NASA-supported SPACE RACE startup challenge, CAI has launched 58 startups and trained more than 2000 entrepreneurs.

Our mission is to accelerate and increase the volume of knowledge/technology transfer, commercialization in support of high growth business, economic impact and entrepreneurship, ultimately to maximize the commercial potential of promising inventions.

In order to assist in the most relevant ways, we have designed three alternatives to assist Research Institutes, including Universities, Foundations, Hospitals, as well as Federal labs.

Our team has conducted over 100 strategy and innovation projects, including more than 50 intellectual property portfolio reviews. We have served, worked in and been trained by some of the world’s elite institutions, including but not limited to: IBM, Booz Allen & Hamilton, the National Institutes of Health, two of the largest biomedically focused non-profits and Nokia.
